ALICE COOPER: Official Pro-Shot Footage Of WACKEN OPEN AIR Performance

August 10, 2017

Professionally filmed video footage of Alice Cooper's August 5 performance at the Wacken Open Air festival in Wacken, Germany can be seen below.

Alice told The Spokesman-Review about his current tour: "It's a pure Alice Cooper show with the snakes and guillotine and the straight jacket, but there's a bunch of stuff you haven't seen before — there's a 13-foot Frankenstein. It starts in fourth gear and stays there… It's like a freight train and every single song has some theatrical device."

Cooper added that he is working with the best touring band of his career.

"The one thing I know is going to happen is they're going to be dead on,” Cooper said. "We get to be in The Show. The most fun you have all day should be on stage, and they feel that way.

"I believe the next show is going to be better than all the others," he said.

Cooper's new album, "Paranormal", was released on July 28 via earMUSIC. The disc features two songs written and recorded with the original members of the ALICE COOPER band and also has guest appearances by ZZ TOP guitarist Billy Gibbons, U2 drummer Larry Mullen and Roger Glover of DEEP PURPLE.

"Paranormal" was produced by longtime collaborator Bob Ezrin (PINK FLOYD, DEEP PURPLE).

In addition to the new studio album and the two new recordings from the original ALICE COOPER band, fans receive a bonus of six live tracks recorded at one of Cooper's 2016 shows in Columbus, Ohio.
